Immediately after his creation, the creator inputs all of Voltage’s vital information such as his existence, purpose, and abilities into their mind for them to follow. In some unknown point in time, Voltage!Sans was created by an unknown entity one that many have speculated to be the creator of the Multiverse.
This method, however, isn’t exactly fool-proof, as some of the Players would eventually come back to their AUs. When doing this, Voltage had to first deactivate the Player’s control (powering off the Player’s program essentially), he would then “substitute” the Player’s role with Frisk, Chara, or any main protagonist that was initially programmed into the AU prior to having the Player take over. The job of erasing an unfixable AU sort of acts like a type of beneficial alliance between the two, allowing both of them to cooperate with each other peacefully.Īnother part of his job of being a moderator is to confront the Players that have hacked, cheated, or corrupted their AUs on purpose. When Voltage is unable to find a way to fix the glitches of the AU, he passes the task off to Error!Sans, who will eradicate the said AU after being contacted. He is usually the one to immediately be alerted of glitches being spawned into an Alternate Universe. He is an Out!Code moderator who was created for the sole purpose of fixing the glitches in other AUs ( Alternate Universes) similar to how a checksum may work in a program. Voltage!Sans is a Sans variant created by Mandaryne.
